Weve just learned that Actress Michelle Rodriguez, who played Rain Ocampo in the original Resident Evil, has signed on to reprise that role in Resident Evil: Retribution although It is not yet clear how Rain Ocampo will fit into the story line considering she met her end in the original film when she became a zombie. We're guessing the most logical choice would be for her to be involved with a flashback of some kind.
